1. How can I get my blog listed in your blogroll?
If you would like to get listed on the blogroll you just have to have content that I like. If you would like to be listed, just email me and I will be happy to consider your blog. I really don’t know why I choose one blog over another because I visit regularly blogs that are not on my list and sites that are on my blogroll, I don’t always visit.
2. How do you choose your guest bloggers?
I choose my guest bloggers by those who volunteer and have a great idea or great content on their blog. I also seek out bloggers to post for me based on whether I like what I have read on their blog. I also would like to have a photographer to guest post some of their unpublished photos or a have poems from a poet. Basically, if you would like to guest blog, just visit the Guest page and make it known.
3. Can I give you a poem for Poetic License instead of the one you chose?
Yes, if I have contacted you to use your poem in Poetic License and you would like to have a different poem showcased, just let me know. I’m easy going.
4. Why is your site name so provocative?
I was watching an episode of Andrew Zimmern’s Bizarre Foods one evening. He was visiting Japan and went to a restaurant called Morning Erection, Asa Dachi in Japanese and I wanted to name my blog that. If an entire restaurant can have the name, so can my blog.
5. How do you come up with subjects for your posts?
I have many methods. Some have come to me while in the shower, some in a dream. I get ideas from the sites I visit daily and leave comments. I also get ideas from Google, Technorati, reading my old posts and most often from my imagination.
6. Why don’t you have any photos of your or April on the site?
April is an Assistant Vice President at her job in line to be Vice President. Would you want to lose your job because of the name of your husband’s blog? No photos of me, none of her. She keeps her job!
7. Are there any sites where you have guest posted?
I have been asked twice and side stepped the offer without saying no. One of the reasons I have guest bloggers is to free up my time, but I wouldn’t be totally against it, if asked again.
8. Why don’t you post any more of your teenage exploits?
When I first started this blog I was not married. As I’ve stated somewhere on this blog, now that I am married, I feel it would be unfair to April to continue posting some of the sexual exploits I did when I was a teen, especially since the dreams that I have me awakening in mornings with an erection and aren’t about April — should be kept quiet. If and when April ever feels differently and convinces me that it is okay to belittle her and our marriage publicly, I will start writing them again…
9. Why don’t your wallpaper and photo posts cater equally to your female readers as they do toward male readers?
I guess I should apologize. The reason is probably because I am male and I like looking at women. I promise in the coming months I will create a post that features more males and more male nudity — just for the ladies! Whoop, there it is.
10. What happened to my comments?
Well, if I visit the site you listed in your comments and deem it a site I consider spam, I might have deleted it. Sometimes I also correct misspellings when I see them. Even though they are your comments, this is my site and everything on it is a reflection on me. Good grammar reflects well on me! Not to mention, I’m kind of anal retentive.
If you have more questions please leave a comment or email me. If I get the same questions often enough, I will add them here. I’m grateful that I have people willing to ask questions.
