Not everyone is comfortable with their body. Some people won’t even look at themselves in the mirror when alone. There are those, however, like myself who whenever we are home alone, jump at the chance to disrobe and parade around the house in our birthday suits. Others simply like to sleep in the nude.
There is nothing spectacular about my body in the least bit and even though I’m a exhibitionist at heart I can’t for the life of me figure out who (besides April) would find my body attractive. I don’t stay naked because I like the way my body looks, I just like the comfort of being nude.
I’m naked now and I frequently go outside in the buff (I have a high fence). The fence was a prerequisite for any house we bought here in Indianapolis. I’ve been naked at night in my parents back yard, at swimming pools, at a the beach in Hawaii, a State park, on the balcony of one of my apartments when I was younger and even while driving once. I was merely changing clothes into my bathing suit, but it was a two hour drive so I just stayed naked until I approached heavier traffic. (Not recommended when lots of truck drivers are on the road. They can look down into the car and see you).
Unlike some couples, we never exchanged keys or moved in together. I was never afraid that she would just come into my house unannounced. April knew I liked being nude, but it wasn’t until we got married that I told her I’m always naked when alone, not just while I slept. I asked if that would be a problem for her.
I knew she slept either in just panties or nude as well. Well folks, it turns out my wife likes to be naked at home too. Thank God for that. Now we just have to find a house suited for our needs in Indiana. Lots of trees or a tall fence like I have now.
As soon as the front door closes instinctively we both remove our socks and shoes. We do have rules though. We agreed to call out and make sure we were the only ones home before the clothes come off though. We also agreed to call home before bringing someone into the house with us. How embarrassing that would be for her friends or co-workers to see me or vice versa.
Nudity at home, alone, by yourself does not equate sexuality. Nudity is comfortable, freeing and perfectly natural. There are millions of people who enjoy being naked at home including Kelly Clarkson and Queen Latifah.
I’m curious to know how many readers of my blog like to be naked at home?

I am a senior male where I live alone in a 2 storey apartment building where I’m on the second floor. I am nude here 100%”of the time & enjoy not having the restriction of clothes. When my wife was with me at our cottage up until last year she had no qualms with me being nude. Even stepping outside if the neighbours were away. She passed away 5 months ago, hence being alone.
Sleeping nude is just great. I have done it for years. It’s the best way to sleep.

I was always fascinated by the sight of a naked person and how good I felt when I was naked in the shower. At around age 14 I daringly stepped out of the bathroom naked when my family was out, to see how “naughty” it might feel. After that I was hooked. Since then, I’ve spent my entire life naked whenever I could be. My secondary thrill was learning that my nude experience was greatly enhanced by the presence of other people. I announced to friends that I was a “nudist” and they could expect to find me naked when they came to my house. I had a secluded yard with a pool and it became a popular place for friends and I during the warmer months as I discovered that most of my friends felt as I did about getting naked and swimming in the pool, or just running around the yard naked. This overflowed into the house and in my circles, nudity became a common, acceptable thing. I’ve had two marriages and several live-in relationships with women who had never tried nudism as such, and all of them felt they had had a sort of epiphany about how good it felt to experience the freedom of being naked. I’ve never been to a nudist resort or joined any nudist organizations but I have been to a local nude beach at the New Jersey shore and can find no words to describe how exhilarating it is whenever I go. Unfortunately, I am now married to a woman who, although liberal in every other way, is extremely uncomfortable when she is naked. We also have two young children and she wants me to keep my naked lifestyle a secret from them, so I must limit my naked time to when I am alone after the kids have gone to bed or during the day when they are at school. But I have a wealth of great memories.

I too am a home nudist. It happened years ago when I started sleeping naked. It went from being comfortable sleeping nude to just walking around the house naked. It then just started that I would sit around in the morning naked and after a few hours I would dress. Now I go naked all the time. I have a pair of shorts handy in case need to answer the door real quick. I also work during the weekends and my wife (who won’t go naked) is home. I do have a lot of home time by myself. Being naked is so much more comfortable than dressing. I believe if people would just try it they would be hooked.

I love being naked it’s such a free feeling. As soon a I get home the clothes come off and stay off. Would like to be more open with friends and family to be naked around them but don’t want to offend anyone,Love all the other post and happy to read about all the others who enjoy being nude like I do.

You have chosen to live a non traditional lifestyle. You make it sound so simple and carefree. Maybe I could try this one day soon. This was also one of the choices for the dares, true?

I’m a home nudist too. It isn’t an easy thing to do when you still live at your parents and have two brothers but I manage. I did not know that about Kelly Clarkson and Queen Latifah. I am 17 yrs old and just started blogging and opening up about myself. Right now my blog is private but I plan to make it public. How is it that you can be so open about your life? I started blogging anonymously less than a month ago and still I keep it private.

I live in New Zealand, so it’s Winter here now. I am really looking forward to October, when, it will hopefully, be warm enough to throw everything off again. I hate having to wear clothes, and now that I am not working, I don’t have to worry about getting dressed, to rush out the door in the morning.
When I can, I do everything around the house au naturel. It’s a wonderful freeing experience. I wish I could be this way all the time.
Maybe if I win the Lottery.

You’re right Paul, it is freeing. It’s very natural and it is uncomfortable in a way when I have to wear clothes especially on those rare occasions when I can’t sleep naked.

Too many people in my house but I am willing to live that way if I had the opportunity. I’m really getting into this site. Very fun posts.

First let me say that it was your erection post that got me to this site but I have to say there is so much more to your site than just beautiful naked men. I’ve read through several posts and this has turned out to be one of my favorite blogs. I’ve already subscribed and will continue reading over my coffee fix this morning.
I guess my question is do you love being naked or just hate clothes? I am a home nudist too and hate wearing clothes now that I live this lifestyle. Who knew Kelly and Queen Latifah were nudists as well.

Being naked to me, is normal and wearing clothes a necessity in some weather and around most people so I’d say I dislike clothes. I don’t love being naked.

We are always naked at home and strip as soon as we both walk in the door. Wearing clothes at home is silly and useless and just causes more laundry. If you are going to be home all weekend why bother getting dressed. Wake, shower and just go naked all weekend. Bare foot or flip flops took the place of shoes for us a long time ago. All of our friends, nudist and non nudist know we go naked and have no issues with the fact we dress for no one who comes to visit.

Our entire family has been a part of the nudist community since I got married ten years ago. We have three children, two girls and a son and only dress when friends come over. I homeschool so it has been a great benefit for our family. glad to see this post Tom.

So what’s so wrong with being naked. We are born into this world naked. What is abnormal is that we wear clothes. WHY ?. Oh My god I have genitals so who doesn’t live with it. I enjoy being naked.

Q: “I’m curious to know how many readers of my blog like to be naked at home?”
A: The bigger question is, why does it matter? Your nudity is not something that I will ever observe, so why should I care? It’s like asking, “If a tree falls, and no one hears…?”

Next door neighbor is naked all the time. It’s crazy how often she doesn’t close her curtains all the way.

I am a nudist. I am in the nude at home almost all the time. I sleep in the nude all the time. Have fenced in back yard and will layout in the nude. Have been to nudist resorts and enjoy very much spending the day in the nude. I live alone so I have no one to share my nudity with anyone that is female. Being nude to me does not always imply having sex. I just enjoy being nude. Glad when all this snow is gone here in Indiana. I live just out side of Indianapolis. When I went to eagle creek beach to swim I wore bikini swim suits and then went I went home on I-465 I went nude all the way home to my garage. I have no problem looking at my self in mirror naked.

Being naked is normal but we are trained to conceal our bodies from childhood. My family and I are nudists and wearing clothes to us is not the norm. I have three children, (4, 13 and 16) and me and my husband all are nudists. We homeschool but when friends come over we do sometimes dress and because of the way of society, my girls wear clothes when their male friends visit. It’s all very innocent.

As soon as I get home the clothes come off. I don’t wear bra or panties when I’m dressed anyway but any clothes seems unnecessary. At school, work or the store I have to but I’d rather be home naked.
Unlike BusyBee I like looking at myself. My body is average but every once in a while I like to see the whole package in the mirror. Not everyone would find everyone’s naked body appealing but that is society’s fault with a big dash Hollywood and Wall Street to blame too. Everyone should feel free to be nude. Merry Christmas Tom. Nice site.
It’s good you and April have a fence in your new house.

I became a home nudist by default. I have a female neighbor who parades around her apartment at all hours of the morning and night either in underwear or panties and she thinks she can’t be seen. I’ve taken to walking around naked too while I watch her. One day I might reveal myself to her. That’s my plan anyway.

when i’m alone at home, i love to be naked- watching tv, eating lunch, answering calls… hehe

I have to admit, I wasn’t comfortable with being nude until my boyfriend came into my life!
Now I sleep naked, and sometimes when we are just lounging around in bed or around the house on weekends, we are both naked.
But, when I’m at home alone, just by myself, I just stay clothed. Until I go to bed again.
There’s nothing wrong with being nude. I don’t stare at myself when I am. It’s just so comfortable, like you said.
Now I can’t sleep with clothes on. :(
