Is It Just Me Or Are Some People Just Plain Crazy?

There was the woman, Mrs La Tour Eiffel who fell in love with and later ‘married’ the Eiffel Tower. There’s Miley Cyrus, Britney Spears, Kanye West, Boy George, and Roseanne Barr.

Recently a man decided to legally change his name to that of a fictional dog because he’s more akin to dogs than people. Gary Matthews is his given name but he wanted to change it to Boomer the Dog. Boomer is the name of a dog from an NBC 80’s show. He liked the show and from that moment on has been living the life of a dog ever since.

I will be the first to admit I’ve done some strange things in my life, some embarrassing things and some things I won’t even share with anyone. I’m sure that most anybody reading this can say the same thing; but this is just too much. The world is getting stranger and more outrageous as the days go by… or is it just me?

Regardless of what you might think about Mr. Matthews, one thing is for sure we can agree on – in the spirit of Bob Barker, let’s make sure Mr. Matthews gets neutered!

Hmmm, if we were picking our names that way, my name would be Ubu as in “Sit Ubu, sit – good dog!” Honestly I’m finding it tough to remember the names of many animals on shows, maybe they didn’t get the memorable lines. I agree – please be responsible and neuter him.

It was crazy to say the least!

Hahaha that’s funny. I think the world is getting more outrageous. It’s not enough to be yourself anymore if you want to stand out. it’s not enough to be a little strange or different to stand out. People will do anything to get noticed these days… :(
