Social Media, Blogging, and Tech Tips from a Kid! I’ve been to many sites on how to improve and grow your blog. Most if not all were by adults. This blog is a very interesting blog and it’s created and managed by a 12 year old. Gloson Teh is from Malaysia and he loves writing poetry but that is on another blog of his. Gloson has been blogging since he was 8 years old and he has been able to accomplish many things because of his blogging achievements. Gloson has been featured on TV and in 2009, met with the Prime Minister and First Lady of Malaysia.
Among Gloson’s many accomplishments is a book of published poetry called Funny Poetry For Kids. This is a site well worth spending several hours reading post after post.
Her blog is a humorous and insightful look at the joys of parenting, the delights of marriage and the heartbreak of losing a child. Her blog has been featured on CNN, The Globe and Mail and in a variety of Canadian daily newspapers. Attack of the Redneck Mommy™ won the Best Canadian Blog award in the 2010 and 2008 Bloggies.
This is a very funny and interesting blog. Tanis Miller began blogging just months after the sudden death of Shale, her youngest. Two of my favorite posts from Tanis’ site are My Son Has A Super Power and a post about Television and Tampons. Her outlook on tampons is kind of like how a lot of parents feel about ED commercials, especially my friend from Iron Cook: American. Take a look. You might just waste your Sunday away at both these blogs.
WARNING: My Son Has A Super Power is a powerful piece of writing. Grab your emotions and your tissues!
