31 Days Of Blogging Honesty: Day 23

Something I would change about myself right now is…

How lazy I have become in respect to exercising. I like working out and I need to work out but when my better half brings it up I always use the same excuse…

… I’ll get all the sexercise I need later on! She usually agrees. Vive la difference!

I talked about all the sugar in the soda I drink, I talked about the great and powerful Doctor Oz, and I told you how much I despise death. That should get me off my butt and workout but I am in denial lately. My parents are going to visit soon and they walk regularly. I think I will join them! I could stand to lose about 25 pounds as long as they come off at the waist and I can decrease the size of my omentum.

Have a great Memorial Day weekend everyone.

I have been very lazy with exercise too, I get tired just playing playstation move games. It’s really sad. I keep saying I’m going to walk more and other things like that but then I find excuses not to.

Excuses won’t do any good when we are six feet under. I think we all should commit to at least walking. I even bought a new pedometer last night! Just 10,000 steps a day!

I’m forced once again to agree with the ladies Tom. Walking is great for you. Try for 10,000 steps a day or more. If your doctor isn’t worried about your belly fat, only lose if you feel the need. Aesthetics are nice but if it isn’t risking your health, everyone can’t have a six-pack.

Don’t worry about how much you weigh, just eat healthy and get active. Don’t obsess about some number. I go for walks regularly, and make sure not sit around too much if I can avoid it.

As for death, sadly it’s unavoidable.

Sitting is one thing I do too much of and walking is something I need to do more of. Death and taxes!

Yes, most men don’t want the massive size of their omentum to overshadow other things! I’ve slacked off on my workouts for the past couple of weeks. I’ve just had too much going on. I usually do 30-45 mins on the treadmill along with some lighter weights for my arms and some crunches for abs Some days I switch it up with a dance workout dvd.. I wish I had an eliptical, because the treadmill is rough on my ankles and knees. I’m leaving for the beach tomorrow, so I plan to get a ton of walking done next week. Great answer!

You got that right, sister! Dancing is something I like to do but I found out as far as burning calories, it’s not much better than walking so walking is better for me unless I just want the fun of some good music and looking ridiculous dancing naked!

Tom –Just checking in….and yes, everyone needs to work out!!! Even if it is walking — better than nothing.

Ava, it’s a pleasure seeing you again. How have you been? I’m going to try walking more often. I like walking at night and with not many people out I might try jogging too. I’m not too fond of all the attention. I know how I stare at people when they are jogging and I always have an opinion I should keep to myself.
