I’ll admit I don’t watch the news all that often but when a natural event such as a volcanic eruptions takes place, I expect someone might tell me. If I hadn’t logged into my email, I still wouldn’t have known about it. Maybe because no one has been killed it has escaped my view on the morning news I see sometimes.
Puyehue is located in Southern Chile in the Andes Mountains about 540 miles from Santiago.
It happened on June 4th. On Saturday Puyehue erupted after being dormant for more than 50 years. It produced some amazing lightning that was visible against a vivid backdrop of the ash cloud. The gas and ash shot up into the heavens as far a six miles. I hope you enjoy these images.

Day 31 — Given the choice between going without television for the rest of my life or my computer, I would choose…
It would take until the very last day of this to find the easiest question! I would most for surely go without TV! Most of what I like to watch is available on the computer through Hulu.com or on the network site directly.
You can also use technology to watch television through your PC. If I had to give up TV, I would use Netflix in combination with some other computer program. Goodbye television. I would of course need to use an HD monitor for my computer which would be about four sizes larger than my current monitor’s resolution!
Thank you Cherlyn and Savesprinkles1234 for taking this honesty journey with me. Hopefully we can do it again and we can have someone else come up with the questions. It would be great if we could get more to take part as well.
Who else but Prince could have ordered it to rain during the half time show of Super Bowl XLI? First it wasn’t raining, then he started playing and it began to rain which was lit purple during the performance of “Purple Rain”.
I just wanted to give a shout out to his royal badness and say Happy Belated Birthday. Is there any chance you have a favorite Prince song or do you not care at all for his music? I already know Melinda from Finding The Humor is a card carrying, poster hanging fan!
