I’m still working diligently on putting together all the menus but I wanted to pause to give the official invite list. These are the people who I consider friends and attended the 2010 dinner or have frequented this blog and commented in the last six months of last year and did not request to have their names removed from the invite list. If your name is here and you don’t want it, let me know. If it is not here and you would like to feast with us, let me know that too. Let Tom know. Sorry if I don’t know your last name.

So I’ve been working on the menus and decided that since cupcakes are so popular or en vogue, I would just make several varieties and let the last course be buffet style. You can have as few or as many as you like. I’ve been practicing with my decorating skills! Here are four of your dessert choices. Cookies and cream, Vanilla with Strawberry Preserves topped with Vanilla Strawberry Buttercream, Chocolate Caramel Cupcake topped with Vanilla Buttercream, Caramel Drizzle and Pomegranate Seeds. I hope this whets your appetite and you are still looking forward to dinner.

Sorry for getting here late – I’d love to come of course! I think for the cupcake I’d probably choose the vanilla with strawberry preserves (yummy!). Though this is the time of year where temptation calls me and I’d probably want to sample all of them lol.

The good news is you are never late Cherlyn and even better news is the dinner isn’t until Feb. so you have plenty of time you garner your will power. Merry Christmas!

Isadora, thank you for the last name. It will make the menu much more realistic. Looking forward to the event. What does your husband think about all of this?

No, I didn’t make these. Just pretending that I was slaving in the kitchen all day! The credit goes here!

That definitely looks like my kind of menu. I think that would be about 11p.m New Zealand Standard Time. A late night snack, I think. Thank You.

You will still be able to see the post at the regular time Paul. It’s 12:01 EST. Some rich vanilla ice cream, cupcakes and coffee or a dessert wine and we should all be set.
