Well, you know I don’t like posting twice in one day but I also did not want to go change the date of all the prescheduled posts. I also think this warranted posting as soon as possible. This post gives me the opportunity to share a few things that have nothing to do with the 30DBH Challenge. First up is a commercial that I just saw while writing this post. It is not a very funny post but it did bring a smile to my face. I hope you like it as well.
Secondly, I love blogging and I am on the computer a lot during the day whether or not I am blogging. I think I am beginning to see signs of getting carpal tunnel because of the angle that my keyboard is on and the amount of times per day I click my mouse. You might have noticed a lack of visits to your blog in the past couple of days as well as taking more time to respond to the comments you leave here. That is purposed so I can rest my muscles for a while. I have become ambidextrous quite quickly as I now use my left hand exclusively to finger my mouse, as it were. It is not easy but not impossible either. Please bear with me.
Lastly, the FBI has issued a warning about a computer virus that your computer may already have. If infected your computer will not be able to connect to the internet after July 8th. The virus is called the DNSChanger and at least one of the creators of the virus is in custody. For more information you can visit this link. The main link I found while Googling took too long to bring up the web page. It made me think either a lot of people just heard about this virus through their morning news or it could be a fake site designed to infect your computer. Either way, this site I’m linking to definitely is safe. If your computer is infected there is a way to remove it and you will find it at the link.
I’m half naked, cold, tired, hungry, hurt, wet and just washed up on a deserted island. The first things I need to do to survive is…
Do you mean before or after I stop crying? Pray there are no snakes on this island – poisonous or not! Then I would pray some more. I hate snakes! There are different scenarios depending on whether or not I came ashore during the day or night time. Regardless of what time of the day it is, I would be in need of drying off. I would search for dry wood to start a fire. Being a nudist and alone on the island, I would already be in my comfort zone. Of course I would not know the island was completely deserted until I had the chance to investigate the entire piece of land.
Water would be a priority and getting the courage to stop thinking every little sound I heard was a snake would better enable me to survive. I would conjure up thoughts of Gilligan’s Island, Robinson Crusoe, Castaway, I Shouldn’t Be Alive. I would wonder if MaryAnn and Ginger were here.
Who am I kidding? Without another person on the island with me, most likely I would not survive past a few weeks. Just being honest.
