Second Blogger Meet-Up Nude Dinner Party

Well the day is finally here. Tonight almost forty of my blogging friends will converge on my home and hopefully enjoy a mostly organic meal in their most organic selves. The table is set including place cards for seating, the music has been chosen and and the host is mentally preparing for a houseful of guests. Last year a few people felt a little uncomfortable with total nudity so this year the lighting has been altered and candles will be the only light in the dining room. Furthermore if you are not happy with your menu, there will be plenty of food to choose from everyone elses main course but I do hope you are pleased.

Most of you know that I love cooking and that is the basis for this faux dinner party. Since the first dinner party I threw went so well I wanted to have yet another one. It would have been nice to invite everyone from last time and all the new friends, however not everyone is still blogging and not everyone still visits here regularly. Let’s not focus on the past though. Enjoy this evening to the fullest. If you were not a regular visitor here when I decided to do this last December but you would like to join in; feel free. Your menu will be the Unexpected But Invited Guests. Keep in mind that this is a nude party but do not take it seriously. It’s just a little bit of fun.

Click on your name to see your menu. Names that include an asterisk were also in attendance at the first Dinner Party.

Dinner Conversation

Since we are obviously not really getting together, I thought it might be fun if we simulated dinner conversation. If you don’t mind (and in keeping with the spirit of fun and fellowship), share two things below in the comment section that might come up in casual dinner talk between we bloggers. If you can think of at least two things about yourself that you have never shared with your blog readers, please enlighten us here. Inquiring minds want to know. Maybe what you think of might only come up after a few glasses of wine! Think carefully.

Many thanks for humoring me and coming to the dinner my friends! In lieu of a mini blogging conference when we wake up tomorrow you will be treated to February’s guest blogger, Mai Mergili. Mai’s post is about her passion for photography and fashion. Enjoy!

Virtual Dinner Party Tomorrow

Morning Erection’s Second Dinner Party
Tomorrow Friday, February 24th, 7:00 pm

Invitations were expressed in December and preparations are almost finished. Remember to bring your appetite and nothing else to my second virtual blogger dinner party. There were 38 invitees which means 38 different main course menus. Everything will be prepared and ready to go and dinner will be served promptly at 7:00 pm.

Please be honest and let me know if you do not like what I have prepared for you. My skin is relatively thick so it won’t bother me. This is all for fun anyway although I really think it would be great to meet all of you.

If you would have wanted to be invited and were not, you can still show up. Just don’t be too late or you can count on being the ones stuck with cleaning the dishes. Tomorrow you can choose the Unexpected But Invited Menu.

Invitations Were Extended To:

Yuuki Chan, Judy Santiago, Blaga Todorova, Brittany, Mariana, TheRealSharon, Rose Reynolds, Cherlyn Cochrane, Mai Mergili, Michelle Teoh, Chris Ferrell, Te’Kia Miller, Paul Orr, Iron Cook Carl, TemptingSweets, Noeleen, Addielicious, Deborah Bryan, Ev, Sylvia Garza, Prinsesa Musang, AnonymousBurn, Isadora De La Vega, Janie Blim, Lisa, Kat, Melinda, Giovanna, Chris King, Jia Xin, Seth Winternight, SeeNote, Kara, David (1MereMortal), Kim Koning, Irish Precious, Ina, and Ruth Ligget

No alcoholic beverages will be served as I want everyone coherent and ready for an enjoyable evening of conversation. I hope to see you all tomorrow evening. I just have one question for you guys… Where are my sous chefs?

Mai Mergili, an Asian student living in Germany and who wrote a guest post for a guy in America that will be published this Saturday. Mai has many passions but she is most passionate about photography, fashion and music. Mai is only sixteen and was very willing to be my guest blogger when I asked. I can assure you that you will enjoy her post. Come back this Saturday after you are finished eating Friday’s dinner. In the meantime, spend some time reading her blog, Pencil Pillow.

Blogger Meet-Up Nude Dinner Party

Blogger Meet-Up Nude Dinner Party

April and I were talking last night (November 13th) about entertaining a few of her co-workers. We haven’t had a dinner party in a while and we talked about who we would invite and what the menu would be. Trying to always have my blogger’s hat on, I wondered what menu I would prepare if I had a Blogger Meet Up Dinner Party and the guests went native — nude like us?

What if I invited everyone on my blog roll to dinner and prepared a dish especially for each blogger. Needless to say I don’t know anyone’s favorite food, whether someone hates vegetables or is allergic to a specific food; but I thought it might be fun to see what I could come up with and what your response would be. Be honest about what I have prepared for you and don’t worry, cameras and cell phones not permitted.

There are now 27 eligible invitees so I needed to come up with 28 individual menus. I also included an menu for people who might be added to the blogroll between now and then. Coffee, tea, beer, wine and champagne might not be written on the menus, but rest assured they will be present. The dessert course will be a choice of several items served buffet. After dinner we will be seeing a movie. Any requests?

This is just fun for me. You know I love cooking so don’t take this seriously. I doubt anyone would show up for my Nude Dinner Party if it were real anyway! However, if you were to show up, it’s a good idea to arrive with clothes on! There are plenty of nosy neighbors plus it’s very cold in December. Separate safe changing areas would of course be provided and don’t worry, April and I most definitely prepared your food fully clothed! Please enjoy this formal candlelight dinner.

If you were added to the blogroll before I started creating this post as well as the one on November 16th, and don’t see your name on the list below, please click on the Unexpected But Invited Guests (that includes you Catherine).

For all other blogroll members, click on your name to see the menu prepared especially for you, remove your clothing and have a seat  →
