31 Days Of Blogging Honesty: Day 31

Day 31 — Given the choice between going without television for the rest of my life or my computer, I would choose…

It would take until the very last day of this to find the easiest question! I would most for surely go without TV! Most of what I like to watch is available on the computer through or on the network site directly.

You can also use technology to watch television through your PC. If I had to give up TV, I would use Netflix in combination with some other computer program. Goodbye television. I would of course need to use an HD monitor for my computer which would be about four sizes larger than my current monitor’s resolution!

Thank you Cherlyn and Savesprinkles1234 for taking this honesty journey with me. Hopefully we can do it again and we can have someone else come up with the questions. It would be great if we could get more to take part as well.

Think Twice Before Adding A Warner Bros. New Release To Your Netflix Queue!

I am a huge fan of the comic book hero. When VCR’s first came out my sister was able to get the Superfriends on video. I watched the Justice League on Cartoon Network and I look forward to the video releases of movies like Superman/Batman Public Enemies, Green Lantern: First Flight and Wonder Woman movies. Yet another superhero cartoon movie has been released on February 23, 2010 (Justice League: Crisis On Two Earths). The problem is it won’t be released until 30 days later through Netflix because of a deal Netflix made with Warner Bros.

This effects every Warner Bros. new release, not just for the kid in me, DC Comics movies. The Informant and The Box also were released on 2-23-2010 but won’t be available through Netflix until 3-23-2010. Not a big deal if you watch movies like you are supposed to, but for me with a love of all movies, it means I have to now schlep myself down to Blockbuster and reopen my old account so I can see the Warner Bros. new releases on time or start buying movies.

There are more important issues in the world, he said as he grabbed his coat heading to Blockbuster. Superman, here I come!

What’s In Your Movie Queue?

What’s In Your Movie Queue?

I’m quite sure there are huge movie fans out there as most of you know I am. I keep a record of the movies I watch for you, in case you are interested on the Roll Film page.  I’m a loyal member of Netflix and usually have close to 500 movies in my queue. Sometimes I have added movies months before and I scan through the queue not knowing what the heck a particular movie is.

With that in mind sometimes I go on a house cleaning patrol but lately I like what I see. You should know by now that I don’t just offer information to my readers without asking a question of you…

Below is what is in my queue right now. I really enjoyed The Marine and didn’t find out there was going to be a The Marine 2. I like John Cena but he isn’t in the sequel. The sequel is based on a true story so I am up for renting it. What I really want to see is Pandorum. Has anyone seen it yet? I’d like to know what to expect.

If you are a member of or, I’d like to know what you have as your first five movie rentals in your queue. If you don’t have a queue tell me what you think will be the next movies that you want to rent when you go to the rental store. Thanks.
