CONDOLENCES

On a very sad note, one of our blogger friends, Cherlyn Cochrane has lost her Great Grandfather, Robert Phillip Ramey. Mr. Ramey was 91 years old and passed on December 5th. Please at your earliest convenience, stop by Cherlyn’s site and pay your respects to her. She wrote a poem, dedicated it to him and posted it today. She also gives a little bit of information about her great grandfather and the impact his life had on her family and the world. Thank you for showing Cherlyn kindness at this time of grieving.

Tom

REST IN PEACE

A face we love is missing
a voice we know is still
a place is vacant in all our hearts,
that only you could fill.
Tears in our eyes,
they wont go away,
we wish you were here with us today.
We know you never ment to hurt us
or make us cry.
Our love for you will always stay,
if only things didn’t end this way.
But you’ve brought it to the final end,
we will always remember you as our friend.
We love you
Rest in paradise till we meet again.

What a beautiful tribute. My heart goes out to Cherlyn. I’m loving your Firefox add-on posts. I’m an add-on addict and didn’t know about these. Soon I’m going to be 50% screen, 50% toolbar ha ha. I need a bigger monitor.

I really like Firefox and the folks that make the add-ons to make Firefox better. Now, if I could just stop calling it Foxfire I would be happy!

My email must be acting up, because I haven’t received any email notifications for any of my blog subscriptions.

But I did remember to stop by today, and I have to say, Tom, you are extremely sweet. Thank you so much for your condolences, it warms my heart that people from around the world have given me and my family such kind words of support in these difficult times. It makes this new chapter, and the loss of a dear family member much more bearable. I am very greatful to know people like you and Blaga, and all the other supportive, great people I have met through our blogs. And though great distances separates us, it’s moments like these that make me feel like the world seem like a smaller, less lonely place. Thank you so much my friend.

Arg, so sleepy – last line meant to read “makes me feel like the world is a smaller, less lonely place” or something like that. Sorry. Thank you very much again :)

You and your family are very welcome. Despite the distances, oceans, wars, racism and borders that separate us, we are all still in one human family. Although we didn’t know him, it is still our loss too.

I really enjoyed your informational posts these days. Very kind of you to mention about Cherlyn here, again, courage Cherlyn, may his soul rest in peace!

Thank you Blaga. It was a challenge getting all the add-on information together but not adding my two cents made it easier to post the information.
